Every student has a camera in their pocket and easy access to video tools that rival professional movie studios. The question becomes, how do we leverage such tools in the classroom? We will explore non-traditional ways to harness the power of digital storytelling to tap into student creativity throughout the curriculum. By analyzing popular 'viral' videos, we will assess what draws us to them, how they were created, and how educators can replicate those same principles and ideas using Discovery Education videos and free websites.
