I have been teaching for 21 years and am currently a 4th grade teacher. I recently became an amateur radio operator KJ6RSX, and have started a Ham Radio Club at my school. This past year I have integrated the basics of radio technology into my curriculum and use it as a platform for project based learning. My students are also exploring the world of DX, and made distant contacts as far away as Eastern Europe and Argentina! I am very excited for this next school year and experiencing what my students have to offer!
